Park, get around and stay informed with ease, all through a single app. AthensWay is the new free app from the Municipality of Athens, bringing together the city’s key mobility services in a modern, user-friendly interface. Whether you are a resident or a visitor, it helps you plan every journey more easily, saving time and making everyday life simpler.
Useful services for everyday travel
AthensWay also lets you:
- report road safety issues,
- locate electric vehicle charging points,
- find parking ticket sales points,
- get information about municipal car parks,
- find useful phone numbers and receive announcements from the Municipality of Athens.

Controlled parking with more options
With AthensWay, residents and visitors can buy parking time in just a few steps. After making sure you have parked in a controlled parking zone, identified by the relevant sign, open the app, enter your vehicle’s registration number, choose your parking duration and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You always see the total cost before confirming your purchase, and you can activate your ticket without topping up your e-wallet first.
With AthensWay, you can also:
- receive a notification before your parking time expires,
- extend your parking time wherever you are,
- save more than one vehicle,
- buy a ticket in advance for the next operating day or time,
- view your transaction history and digital receipts,
- be notified automatically when the parking system is outside operating hours.

For the first time, you can check real-time availability at the municipal underground car park in Kotzia Square, so you know whether spaces are available before you arrive.

Track OASA buses in real time, check arrival times, save your favourite routes and plan every journey more easily.
This helps you plan your route and combine different travel options through a single app.
KIOSKS
Buy parking time at physical points of sale too
Residents and visitors can also buy parking time at participating physical points of sale, such as kiosks, displaying the special sign. Pay in cash or by card to activate a parking ticket immediately, buy a ticket in advance for the next operating day or time, or extend an existing ticket by providing the vehicle’s registration number.
